i love everything about autumn time. the beautiful colors, an entire new wardrobe, the wind blowing in my hair, and playing in the leaves. but most of all, what i really love about autumn time is the memories it brings back to me. today i've especially been remember all the grand adventures i used to pursue as a young 'un. as i was walking home from my piano lesson i was very tempted to grab an umbrella out of my house and run up and down the street. wishing i could fly like mary poppins. (mind you it works better if you tie sheets to your wrists and ankles then jump on a tramp, it's been proven) another sweet memory was brought to life during mr. downs class as i was asked to do a timed descriptive essay. he wanted us to describe a place, it would be any place, one that aroused any type of emotion. the first place that came to mind was my grandparents’ home out in idaho- well what used to be their home and will always be their home to me. i remember climbing on the bails of hay, getting stuck in my shoes and pants and itching more then you can possibly imagine. all the memories of playing hide-n-seek in the hay field with the hay up to my shoulders, being able to lie down and never be found. catching all that air, as we would race over the bumps on four-wheelers was the best. i also always enjoyed taking a venture into the old barn house. i would see all kinds of trinkets and things galore, my favorite was the old saddle on the post. i always pictured grandpa treasure riding off in his cowboy boots and had for some grand adventure. i don't know if there was just something in the air, but autumn time is a beautiful time of the year. always remember to take all the beauty of the world in from around you. glance up at the sky every now and then, take a look at the glorious leaves. breath in the sweet fresh air.

Mmmm. This is absolutely one of the best times of the year. Every day is a new adventure. I heart big black cloud of doom autumn days!
Yea for Idaho!
My grandparents live(d) in Rigby too! I loved, loved, LOVED going to visit them. They had a hay field too, and that was just about the only game we younger kids had any chance at against all the big boy cousins.
Also, did you ever go to the snow cone shack by the elementary school? BEST SHAKES EVER!
Yep, small towns and fall go together like peanutbutter and something besides jelly.
lol why something besides jelly?
Because she HATES Peanut Butter and Jelly! Lol...sad day.
that's too bad. this one time i did a dance with a friend and she was the peanut butter and i was the jelly-- and we had awesome foam bread :) yum... good memories
