The Things I've Learned...
Living with six other girls provided an excellent opportunity to strive to create the perfect homey atmosphere. It also makes me appreciate so much more the way my parent's kept our house. So without further ado the things I've learned over the years.
- Empty the garbage before the kitchen begins to stink
- Leave the kitchen as though you'd never been there
- Never, ever, ever, ever, ever rinse out the mop in the kitchen sink over dirty dishes (EWWWWW!)
- Dishes won't get clean if you don't take the wrapping off the dish soap
- Plants should not be left ALL over the kitchen table and entertainment center to dry... or maybe they were forgotten
- Food will go bad if you leave it out on the table all night (VILE)
- If you want something cleaned right, do it yourself
- Never, ever, ever, ever, ever rinse out the mop in the kitchen sink over dirty dishes (EWWWWW!)
- Dishes won't get clean if you don't take the wrapping off the dish soap
- Hair should always be removed from the drain after showering
- If the dishes in the dishwasher are dirty, put your dirty dishes in with them. They can be friends.

My dirty dishes are all friends on top of the microwave--I don't have asink.
=(
Lol. Oh the lessons our dirty kitchens and bathrooms hold for us.
You're so lucky to have a dishwasher. Except then you miss out on the whole "wait until the dirty dishes form a daunting pile of doom and you have nothing left to eat on, then launch in with a full-fledged, every able-bodied roommate involved cleaning adventure that requires an ENTIRE bottle of (unwrapped) dish soap, dozens of rags, and, of course, West Life singing Frank Sinatra songs" experience...in which case I'm sorry you have to miss out on that. Because it's pretty awesome.
Ew to the dirty mop/dishes mess!
haha oh man. i can't believe i'm going to miss out on that. i'll just go next door and help out the boys' apartments. they don't have them. i'll see if they'll let me sing to frank :D
